Renovation of the Cerveny Dvur Premises for Clients and General Public - Phase I

The purpose of the Project is the development of a female drug addicts’ centre with the overall objective of improving the healthcare services offering for the rehabilitation and recovery of female drug addicts. The Project will give women their own specially tailored ward within the renovated House B of the Cervený Dvur Psychiatric Hospital, located within the Cervený Dvur castle complex, and will create additional bed spaces specifically for the use of its female clients. Reference is made to the application, dated 18 July 2005, and email correspondence with the Focal Point dated 14 April 2006 and 27 September 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: The works relate to the partial renovation and reconstruction of House B of the Cervený Dvur Psychiatric Hospital. This includes works to the cellar, ground floor and first floor, specifically relating to the installation of infrastructure for electricity, water, and sewerage, and the repair/reconstruction of floors, windows, ceilings, windows, doors, etc. Ten new bed spaces will be created as well as rooms for holding therapeutic programmes, all for the use of its female clients. The Project Promoter is the Psychiatric Hospital Cervený Dvur. The Project Promoter shall provide at least 26.91 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
