Reconstruction of the castle in Hlucín

The objective of the Project is to preserve the castle of Hlucín a listed cultural monument and support economic and social development in the City of Hlucín. For this Project, the City of Hlucín is the Project Promoter. Reference is made to its Application dated 2 August 2005. The Project shall include the reconstruction of the south wing of the castle of Hlucín. The subject of this reconstruction shall be structural modifications of the castle's interior. The reconstruction shall include new plaster, new windows, floors, wiring and plumbing. The reconstruction shall create space for the School of Arts, and for the Museum of Hlucínsko, and the Cultural Centre Hlucín, which manages a public library, and the director's office. The Project shall be executed in partnership with the Cultural centre of Hlucín and with the Museum of Hlucínsko. The construction work shall be coordinated in cooperation with the Conservation Institute in Ostrava. The Project Promoter, shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs.
