Fund for Support of Co-operation among Schools/scholarships

The grant will serve to co-finance a Scholarship Fund managed by Centrum pro studium vysokého školoství. The Fund will support cooperation between educational institutions in the Czech Republic and the donor states. The sub-projects financed by the Fund may cover actions linked to any of the priority areas of the Financial Mechanisms. The Fund will support three types of sub-measures: (1) individual mobility grants, (2) learning partnerships and (3) institutional development. Eligible applicants include secondary schools, higher and vocational schools, higher education institutions and non-profit, non-governmental institutions engaged in educational activities, as well as their respective students, lecturers and expert staff. The actions subject to support consist of individual mobility grants for Czech residents going to Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway; learning partnerships between Czech institutions and those in the three donor states; institutional development projects implemented in cooperation between institutions in the Czech Republic and the donor states; the management costs of the block grant intermediary. The grant is complementary to similar funding schemes financed from other sources. The objectives of the grant are to strengthen the European dimension of the educational system in the Czech Republic and to increase cooperation in the area of primary and higher education, vocational training and non-formal education between the Czech Republic and the donors states.
