The project contributes to the capacity building of umbrella associations by providing representatives and members of the associations with a development program that will improve their entrepreneurial skillset and thinking. The project reacts to a strong need of sector players who have limited access to development programs that would stimulate their entrepreneurial capabilities.

The project is solving the urgent need by creating such a development program in cooperation with the Norwegian partner Entreprenerdy. Entreprenerdy has extensive experience in creating such programs. Entreprenerdy runs a program dedicated to players in Cultural and Creative Industries in Nordic countries. We will take advantage of this unique experience to establish the Development Program for Cultural and Creative Industries in the Czech Republic.

We will start by mapping the specific needs of twelve selected associations and their members. The main activity is represented by the preparation and realization of five training rounds of the development program. Each round is four-month-long and consists of two parts. The first part is standardized, the second part is tailored to the concrete needs of participants.

The project will be beneficial for representatives and members of associations. By participating in the development program, the representatives of the associations will understand how to provide better value for the area and members they represent. By participating in the development program the members of the associations will understand how they can develop and manage their projects as entrepreneurs. If we improve the entrepreneurial skillset of the representatives and members, the overall capacity of associations will improve.

Summary of bilateral results

The project benefited significantly from the cooperation with the Norwegian partner Entreprenerdy, which brought extensive experience in the design and implementation of development programs for the cultural and creative sectors. The partner played a key role in designing the program structure and transferring know-how, including the S-E-A-M methodology and the use of the EMS tool. The partner’s involvement enabled the creation of a high-quality educational program tailored to the specific needs of the participants. The partner led the introductory workshops, during which the program structure and its adaptation to local conditions were defined, and provided professional guidance and supervision throughout the project. Furthermore, it trained and certified mentors so that they could independently lead individual program runs, which ensured its sustainability and transferability into the future. This approach ensured not only the high quality of the program, but also the transfer of knowledge and skills to project promoter's team. Thanks to the partner, the program was more effective, innovative and contributed to the long-term strengthening of the capacities of the associations and their members.
