COMMUNITY ORIENTED IMPROVEMENT OF CHILDCARE SERVICES IN MUNICIPALITY OF GABROVO

The purpose of the Project is improving the quality of child-care services by renovating children's crèche No 9 in the town of Gabrovo, with the overall objective of establishing a pilot project for high quality childcare services in the region of Gabrovo. Reference is made to the application dated 24 April 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Project management including public procurement and audit, - Renovation of a children's crèche, its kitchen and playgrounds, - Purchase of equipment and furniture, - Staff training, survey and needs analysis, and - Publicity including elaboration of an on-line institutional database and dissemination of results. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Gabrovo. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Bulgarian State budget provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
