The purpose of the project is to support the integration of refugees from Ukraine. Although managing to secure adequate humanitarian aid and living conditions for a high number of displaced people on its borders for the first couple of months, the Bulgarian state has left a huge gap when it comes to providing the refugees from Ukraine with a clear path towards sustained living conditions in the country. Our aim is to help relevant NGOs and interested employers, mainly in the Ruse Municipality navigate the complex legal and ethical requirements while helping the refugees in need. This will be achieved foremost through an online platform, which will provide them with extensive, organized and unbiased information regarding their obligations and opportunities. The platform will include videos, infographics, visual and audio materials based on a strict ethical codex. The platform will be complemented by a training program, bringing together all actors – NGOs, business representatives and Ukrainian refugees. The program will include relevant topics, such as human rights, special care for refugees and children, human trafficking, access to the labor market etc.. The target groups of the project will be civil society organisations and small and medium-sized enterprises, and the end users will be refugees, migrants and asylum seekers, as well as children and young people.
