Public Lighting Enhancement in the Municipality of Lehnice Aimed to Energy Savings

The purpose of the Project is to modernise and optimise the communal street lighting system in the municipality of Lehnice, with the overall objective of promoting the sustainable development of the municipality of Lehnice through the reduction of energy consumption. Reference is made to the application dated 6 March 2006 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - public procurement of contractor; - purchase of material; - excavation and construction works; - replacement of cables; and - installation of posts and lamps. The Project Promoter is the Lehnice Municipality. The Slovak government shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs. The promoter shall provide at least 5 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
