Reconstruction of the family type children’s house

The purpose of the Project is the renovation of a building into a family style home for foster children, with the overall objective of improving the care and upbringing of foster children in Košická Nová Ves. Reference is made to the application dated 20 March 2006, and to correspondence with the Focal Point dated 26 February 2007, 4 May 2007, and 17 May 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - public procurement activities; - renovation works for the modification and expansion of the building into a family type house, including the replacement of windows, new roofing, etc. - installation of water, natural gas, sewage and drainage connections; - purchase and installation of a new boiler system; - furnishing of the building; - construction of a playground; - landscaping and gardening works; and - publicity activities. The Project Promoter is Detský domov Košická Nová Ves (the Children's home in Košická Nová Ves). The Focal Point shall ensure that the State budget of the Slovak Republic will provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
