Renovation of the historic, cultural and social centre Cierny Orol in Prešov.

The purpose of the Project is the renovation of the 'Black Eagle' building in Prešov, with the overall objective of preserving a building of cultural heritage value and making its infrastructure available to a wider portion of the population. Reference is made to the application dated 14 March 2006, and to correspondence with the Focal Point dated 22 February 2007 and 18 May 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - renovation of the building, including rehabilitation of masonry walls and trusses, replacement of roofing, replacement of external windows and doors, etc.; - construction of a new boiler house; and - replacement of heat distribution systems and radiators. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Prešov. The Focal Point shall ensure that the State budget of the Slovak Republic will provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
