The main objective of the Project is to raise awareness of mitigation and adaptation on climate change among pupils, teachers and the public by focusing on theoretical education together with practical implementation. Within the Project, the primary goal is to raise awareness of the importance of waste sorting and elimination, to focus on waste recovery, to promote and conserve flora and fauna in school campus. 

Main Project activities are the following:

- Thematic updating of curricula of existing subjects,

- Elaboration of the School Environmental Program,

- Use of solar powered streetlights to light up the outdoor area of the campus,

- Installation of waste bins for waste separation and building a composter,

- Creating an herb garden with irrigation, building an insect house,

- Building an educational trail for students and for the public on the school premises,

- Using the rainwater for irrigation - placing a rainwater collection tanks,

- Increasing the percentage of greenery - planting of trees as a part of the leisure time activity together with Partners.

There are 3 Slovak Project Partners involved in the Project: the Primary School of Jozef Cíger Hronský in Krupina, the City of Krupina and the Urban Forests company.
