Development of an integrated communication system for Customs Administration

The purpose of the Project is to develop and strengthen the communication between Custom Service Mobile Groups in seven Customs Chambers (Biala Podlaska, Bialystok, Gdynia, Kielce, Olszyn, Przemysl and Warszawa) in order to ensure more effective operations, with the overall objective of improving the security within the Schengen area. Reference is made to the application dating 31 March 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - tender preparation and implementation; - purchase of equipment; - management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Ministry of Finance. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Finance provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
