Additional equipping of the countrywide used accumulators buying points

The purpose of the Project is to increase the number of battery scrap collection points and increasing the amount of recycled batteries, with the overall objective of improving natural environment in Poland through better quality of battery waste management. Reference is made to the application dated 21 November 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. purchase of containers for collection, storage and transport of used lead/car batteries at a nationwide network of collection points; 2. purchase of transport vehicles and trailers; 3. promotion and establishment of an extended network of customers and 4. management and publicity. The applicant is the company Orzel Bialy S.A. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 68.8 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
