"Professional employee = satisfied inhabitant. The Academy of staff development of Community Council and County Administration in Polkowice"

The purpose of the Project is to increase the employees' skills and professional competences at the Community Council and County Administration in Polkowice, with the overall objective to improve the quality of public services in Poland. Reference is made to the application, dated 11 April 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Provision of postgraduates studies including Master in Public Administration courses; - Provision of language and IT training courses; - Provision of "obligatory" training courses; - Provision of "specialist" training courses; - Management and promotion. The Project Promoter is the Polkowice Community (Gmina). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Polkowice County (Poviat). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
