Thermal modernisation of the municipal buildings in the area of Golancz town and commune.

The purpose of the Project is to increase the energy efficiency of six municipal buildings in the Municipality and Commune of Golancz by improving their thermal insulation properties, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 27 December 2006, and further correspondence with the Focal Point dated 18 April and 21 May 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. School in Smogulc: replacement of glass bricks with modern windows; insulation of external walls; insulation of roofs; modernisation of the central heating system. 2. School in Morakowo: replacement of windows and doors; insulation of external walls; insulation of roofs; modernisation of the central heating system (including installation of thermostatic valves). 3. School in Panigrodz: replacement of windows and doors; insulation of external walls (main building); insulation of flat roofs; modernisation of the central heating system (including installation of thermostatic valves). 4. Health Centre and Centre of Local Assistance (day-care centre for adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems) in Golancz: replacement of windows and doors; insulation of external walls; insulation of roofs. 5. School in Golancz, Main Building: replacement of windows and doors; insulation of external walls; insulation of flat roofs; modernisation of the central heating system (including installation of thermostatic valves). 6. School in Golancz, Gymnasium: replacement of windows and doors; insulation of external walls; insulation of flat roofs (ventilated); insulation of flat roofs (unventilated); modernisation of the central heating system (including installation of thermostatic valves). The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Golancz. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
