Green energy for Kociewie – complex thermal modernization, including installation of solar collectors in the Complex of Education in Smetowo Graniczne.

The purpose of the Project is the reduction of thermal energy consumption through thermal modernisation of public buildings in Smetowo Graniczne, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 4 September 2006, and additional information received through the Focal Point, dated 20 December 2006 and 27 March 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: -Thermo modernisation works in the Old Pavilion (secondary school), the Northern Wing, a kindergarten and gym hall of the Complex of Education in Smetowo Graniczne, which include thermal renovation of front elevations and roofs, and replacement of windows; - Purchase and installation of solar collectors in the Northern Wing. The Project Promoter is the commune of Smetowo Graniczne. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15,87 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
