The purpose of the Project is the development of tools for diagnosis, prevention and therapy for victims and perpetrators of traffic accidents, with the overall objective of preventing traffic accidents and minimising their negative impact on human beings through improving knowledge on causes and consequences of traffic accidents. Reference is made to the application, dated 29 November 2005. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - carrying out diagnosis and empirical research; - purchasing the diagnostic tools and laboratory equipment (JAZZ eye tracker, reaction time unit, stereometer and Poppelreuter test, biofeedback unit); - purchasing the licence for the use of the diagnostic tools; - organising training for the group of therapists; - preparing of corrective and therapeutic programmes; - organising an international congress; - publishing and promoting the research results. The Project Promoter is the University of Warsaw. The Project Promoter has two partners: The Warsaw School of Social Psychology (WSSP) and the Centre for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CCBT). The Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
