Strengthening the justice system through the computerisation of land and mortgage register divisions of district courts

The purpose of the Project is the implementation of the New Land and Mortgage Register IT System (NKW) in the Land and Mortgage Registers (L&MR) divisions and establishing agencies of the L&MR Central Information System, with the overall objective of improving the Polish justice system by maximising the efficiency of operating the land and mortgage books in the L&MR divisions covered by the NKW IT System. Reference is made to the application dated 6 May 2006, and on additional information provided from the Focal Point on 02 October, 23 October and 17 November 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - development of technical infrastructure for the operation of the NKW IT System, - provision of computer hardware, - computer training for staff (computer literacy and system operation), - provision of Wide Accessibility Network access, - implementation of 'New Land and Mortgage Register IT System' applications, - modification of work organisation standards. The Project Promoter is the Polish Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Justice shall provide at least 15 percent of the eligible project cost.
