Model project for the use of renewable and alternative energy in Mórahalom

The purpose of the Project is to establish a model farm for use of renewable energy in Morahalom with the overall objective of promoting environmental protection through the promotion of alternative and renewable energy resources and energy efficiency measures. Reference is made to the application, dated 28 March 2006 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Public tender procedures - Construction of three model farm buildings (residential, production, communal) - Construction of 1 greenhouse - Construction of 1 thermal well - Gardening and parking works - Procurement of equipment and appliances for farm buildings - Electric power conduction - 3 presentations on the use of solar energy, biomass and thermal energy to rural innhabitants - 1 conference for farmers on the use of renewable energy sources with subsequent publication (1000 copies) of the proceedings of the conference - Project management, administration and publicity The Project Promoter is the Local Government of Morahalom. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with Homokkert Kistérségi Integrációs Közhasznú Társaság (Homokkert Micro Regional Integration Public Non-Profit Company). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter will provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
