THE RESTORATION OF THE LAUPA MANOR SCHOOL

The purpose of the Project is to renovate the Laupa manor and to maintain it in use as public school and village centre, with the overall objective of protecting European cultural heritage and sustainable community development. Reference is made to the application, dated 27 June 2007 and subsequent correspondence with the Focal point dated 22 August, 26 October and 6 November 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - restoration works (i.e heating, water and sewage system); - construction works (i.e. new staircase; reconstruction of electrical, ventilation and alarm systems; new boiler room), - project management and publicity; - procurement for renovation; - construction supervision. The Project Promoter is Türi rural Municipality. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
