A way to the sustainable development of Vsetín region

The purpose of the Project is to produce the Strategic Plan for the Sustainable Development of the Vsetin Region with the overall objective to contribute to the sustainable development at local and regional level in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application dated 28 January 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Produce the modules relevant for the Sustainable Development Strategic Plan for the Vsetin Region (modules 2, 3, 7); - Implementation of measures to encourage the exchange of good practices (modules 1, 5); - Implementation of measures to encourage public participation in the decision-making process (modules 4, 6, 8); - Purchase and installation of equipment; - Project management and promotion. The Project Promoter is the Town of Vsetin. Subject to national legislation, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the National Network of Healthy Cities, Porsenna, o.p.s. in the Czech Republic and T-kartor Norway AS. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
