Conservation and Presentation of the Cultural Heritage of Czech and World Theatre

The purpose of the Project is the conservation, documentation and presentation of cultural heritage of Czech and world theatre and to make it accessible to the public, with the overall objective to contribute to the conservation of European cultural heritage. Reference is made to the application dated 16 November 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Czech Theatre culture in photography: collect, replenish and enter archives and documentation material into accessible database including purchasing of equipment; - Prague Quadrennial: collect, replenish and enter archives and documentation material into accessible database including purchasing of equipment; - Czech Amateur Theatre: collect, replenish and enter archive and documentation material into accessible database including purchasing of equipment; - Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Arts Institute -Theatre Institute of Prague. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the National Information and Advisory Centre for Culture (NIPOS). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated total eligible project costs.
