Repair and renewal of the north wing and tower and restoration of decked ceilings in the east wing of the Castle Nový Hrad in Jimlín

The purpose of this Project is the renovation of rooms in the East Wing and renovations of the North Wing and the North Tower of the Novy Hrad Castle, with the overall objective of increasing cultural tourism to Jimlin and preservation of Czech cultural heritage. Reference is made to the application dated 10 September 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - reconstruction and renovation of the North Wing of the castle, including repair of damaged wood and masonry works; - reconstruction of the North Tower of the castle; - renovation of 5 rooms and ceiling paintings in the rooms of the Eastern Wing; - renovation of 1 room and ceiling painting in the Northern Wing; - public procurement of the works; - management and publicity The Project Promoter is Usti Region. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
