IT technologies, a prerequisite for enlargement of the EEA - Antonovo Municipality

The purpose of the Project is to improve ICT infrastructure, local administration capacity and know how and educational tools in the Municipality of Antonovo, with the overall objective to improve the quality of and access to services provided by the local administration in order to become a more efficient and transparent public administration. Reference is made to the application dated 23 April 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Preparatory activities: IT audit, counselling for tender preparation, preparation of designs, implementation of tendering procedures; - Up-grading the ICT equipment of the municipality's administration and schools; - Introducing an electronic cadastre system; - Design and creation of a municipal portal web-site; - Developing and implementing public administration training modules; - Exchange of good practice; - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Antonovo. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Finance of Bulgaria shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
